Doorway of the Tabernacle
Leviticus 8:3-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Leviticus 8 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage shows the people gathered at the tabernacle door as Moses follows the LORD's command, proclaiming what must be done.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this moment, the gathering is a drama of consciousness: the 'congregation' stands for the many thoughts and feelings gathered at the threshold of awareness. The LORD's command is the decree of the I AM within you, a single, decisive word that orders the inner world. When Moses says, 'This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done,' he embodies the mind’s readiness to align itself with that inner decree, moving all parts of the self into harmony. The Presence of God is not a distant location but a felt unity that arises when you obey the inner word. Proclamation becomes reality as imagination is assumed and felt until it is experienced as done. In this inner scene, the act of declaring the command marks the moment your entire being shifts into alignment with that decree, and your life follows the order of that inner voice.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, gather every thought and feeling to the door of your mind, and declare, 'This is the thing commanded by the LORD within me now.' Feel the alignment as real, then carry that feeling into your next moment as if the command is already done.
