Inner Fire of Leviticus 6:9
Leviticus 6:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Leviticus 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse commands the altar-fire to burn all night. It presents perpetual devotion as the law of true worship.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the I AM within, the law of the burnt offering becomes a map for inner discipline. The altar is the mind, the priests represent your attentive states of awareness, and the fire that must burn all night is the unwavering desire of your I AM to stay aligned with what you imagine. This is not ritual externals but a practice of continuous assumption: persist in imagining the end as already yours, and you feed the flame until the offering and the self become one. The burning is perpetual because consciousness is perpetual. Let your inner flame illuminate every choice, word, and feeling; let it burn away doubt, fear, and lack. The offering is the old self burned away to reveal the God within, and the fire kept alive by sustained attention becomes the sign that reality follows the inner state.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly tonight and assume the state that your wish is already fulfilled; feel the perpetual flame on your inner altar. Hold that feeling, revise any doubt with It is done, and let your day unfold from that awareness.
