Biblical Context
Leviticus 6:26–29 describes the sin-offering being eaten by the priests in a holy place, with ritual washing of garments and vessels; all male priests share in this most holy meal.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this ancient rite, observe a map of your inner life. The sin-offering is not something outside you but a movement of consciousness: you inwardly eat the offering by taking responsibility, and thus let guilt serve its purpose in your awareness. The priests represent the steadfast I AM, the choiceless awareness that consumes fear by turning it into holiness through attention. When blood touches the garment and water cleanses the vessel, see your thoughts brushing against the garments of your mind; cleansing is not punishment but a recalled alignment with truth. The broken earthen vessel and scoured brass pot symbolize releasing old forms that carried you and yet can be renewed by your present state. All the male priests eating thereof reveals that this holy discharge is not for a few but for the whole inner kingdom when you consent to the state of holiness. Your life becomes the temple where you dwell as the awareness that furnishes, supports, and sanctifies every movement.
Practice This Now
Sit in quiet and imagine you are the priest who eats your own offering in the holy place of your mind. Feel the purification and declare, "I am holy, I am free," and notice how consciousness shifts.
