Biblical Context
Aaron and his sons eat the remainder of the offerings in the holy place with unleavened bread; nothing leavened is baked with it, and the portion is set apart as most holy.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this ancient rite, you are the priest of your own consciousness. The 'remainder' is the part of your state that remains when you offer it to the fire of awareness; this leftover is not discarded but made edible by your I AM presence. Eating with unleavened bread in the holy place signifies that your feed of thoughts and feelings is free from the leaven of fear, doubt, and ego; it is pure, unsullied by manipulation. The holiness of the place marks the sanctuary of awareness where the covenant resides, and the offerings—sin and trespass included—are acknowledged without becoming your identity. The statement that it is 'most holy' mirrors your deepest level of consciousness, the I AM that consumes these offerings in the flame of attention. When you accept that the ritual is already done in your mind, you align with covenant loyalty and invite the divine Presence to dwell within as your everyday experience. Your job is to revise any lack by declaring, inwardly: I now feed on this purity; I am this sacrificial fire-turned-awareness.
Practice This Now
Practice: close your eyes, envision the inner holy place; imagine the unlevened bread and the sacred portion consumed by your I AM. Then revise any doubt by affirming, 'This holy presence is mine now; I feel it real.'
