Biblical Context
The verses describe sanctifying a house or field to the LORD, with the priest estimating its value; the owner may redeem it by paying an extra fifth, and the value is adjusted depending on the year relative to the Jubilee.
Neville's Inner Vision
You are not merely occupying property but embodying a state of consciousness you consecrate to the LORD, the I AM. The priest is your higher self who values your inner state. When you sanctify, you set a measure of worth for that state; redemption is your act of energy—adding a fifth of your attention, feeling, and faith to keep the state yours. The Jubilee represents the moment you wake to your inseparability from divine supply; if you shift the state after the Jubilee, you must revise the value by the remaining years, thus accepting a revised, diminished cost. The law thus becomes a discipline: declare and maintain a sanctuary through covenant loyalty, and stewardship of your inner world becomes a natural expression of spiritual order. Your present awareness is the authority that keeps your sanctuary standing, and your imaginative acts revalue what you hold until it stands unshaken by time or doubt.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, 'I AM the sanctified state now.' Visualize the house and field as your inner sanctuary; then add a felt fifth of energy to the image and feel it real, watching the state stand firm.
