Within the Enduring Covenant

Leviticus 26:44 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Leviticus 26 in context

Scripture Focus

44And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
Leviticus 26:44

Biblical Context

God promises not to cast away or destroy His people, even when they are among enemies; His covenant endures because He is their God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Leviticus 26:44 speaks of a people surrounded by opposition, yet I read it as a law of consciousness. The 'land of their enemies' is not only a geopolitical place; it is any state of mind where fear, guilt, or separation seem to prevail. In my teaching, God is the I AM within you, not an external ruler. When the verse says, I will not cast them away, or abhor them, it is your inner I AM affirming that no circumstance can sever the bond you have with your true self. The covenant endures because your inner identity does not depend on outward conditions; you are forever in covenant with the Presence you truly are, for I am the LORD their God is the declaration that the I AM governs every thought, feeling, and event. Therefore, persist in the assumption that the inner God is sovereign in you, that exile and threat are only imagined states, and awaken to the truth that you never depart from the I AM; this is how the verse becomes real in your life.

Practice This Now

Assume, for 60 seconds, 'I am the I AM within me; I am in covenant with God.' Let the feeling of unbreakable presence rise until it replaces fear or setback.
