Inner Name Awakening

Leviticus 24:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Leviticus 24 in context

Scripture Focus

16And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.
Leviticus 24:16

Biblical Context

Leviticus 24:16 declares that blaspheming the LORD's name warrants death by the community, including both stranger and native.

Neville's Inner Vision

That line speaks a truth about states of consciousness, not a future court. The LORD name is the I AM within you; to blaspheme it is to forget your own divinity and deny the living reality of who you are. The congregation is the inner chorus of your thoughts and beliefs, and the stone is the self-inflicted verdict of separation you cast upon your life. Both the stranger and the native are facets of one universal mind, including you. When you imagine yourself as apart from the Name, you live in fear, guilt, and judgment—conditions you conjure with your imagination. But the moment you accept that the Name is your identically true awareness, you dissolve the penalty. There is no external punishment, only the consequence of a mind forgetful of its true I AM. Return to the felt sense that you are that Name, always present and alive, and watch the inner world harmonize with its perfect order.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Sit quietly, breathe deeply, and assume the feeling I AM. Repeat I am the Name, I am the I AM, and revise any inner judgment into recognition of your divine unity.
