Moses proclaims the LORD's feasts to Israel; the passage highlights a rhythm of appointed times that point toward devotion and holiness.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the vantage of inner living, Leviticus 23:44 reveals that Moses’ words are not merely external laws but a summons to turn consciousness toward sacred rhythm. The feasts are not dates on a calendar so much as cues for the mind to awaken to the LORD — the I AM that you are. The 'children of Israel' are your various states of consciousness, timid, hopeful, repentant, unguarded; when Moses proclaims the feasts, you are learning to declare a congruent inner season, a covenant loyalty to the Presence. True worship becomes alignment: you pause, acknowledge that the God of your being is already within, and you treat your thoughts as holy, your decisions as offerings. The feasts differentiate the way you inhabit thought: you keep apart what is profane by choosing to renew your attention in gratitude, reverence; you claim the inner times when God’s presence is felt, not just talked about. In this sense, 'The LORD's feasts' become an ongoing practice of becoming aware of your I AM, the unchanging life behind all appearances, and letting that life govern your choices.
Practice This Now
Declare to your inner Israel that today you observe one inner feast; then feel it real by imagining the Presence filling that hour with gratitude and quiet reverence.
