Read Leviticus 22 in context

Scripture Focus

31Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.
32Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you,
Leviticus 22:31-32

Biblical Context

The verses call one to keep God's commandments faithfully and to avoid profaning God's holy name, for the LORD is the one who sanctifies.

Neville's Inner Vision

These verses disclose an inner law: obedience is an act of consciousness, not merely rules. To keep the commandments is to maintain a steady state of awareness that orders every thought and action. The 'holy name' is the inner nature—your I AM—so to prevent profaning it is to refuse any inner thought or habit that degrades that sacredness. When you acknowledge, 'I am the LORD which hallow you,' you are affirming that your life is sanctified by your recognition of the I AM within. The outward obedience you desire from without flows from this inward covenant. Your fidelity to the inner law invites the LORD to revel in you, and to hallow your days; as you persist in this alignment, your sense of self becomes more holy, and what you experience mirrors that sanctity. Do not seek outer proofs; instead revise your inner state until you feel and know, here and now, that you are the embodiment of divine order.

Practice This Now

Assume the state 'I am the LORD within me now,' and feel it real for a minute, then live your day from that inner command.
