Inner Holiness Of Leviticus 21:21

Leviticus 21:21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Leviticus 21 in context

Scripture Focus

21No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
Leviticus 21:21

Biblical Context

Leviticus 21:21 states that a man with a blemish from the priestly line cannot approach to offer the LORD's offerings; symbolically, it points to the need for inner purity to worship.

Neville's Inner Vision

Remember that in this scripture you are not staring at a table of sacrifices, but at the altar within your own consciousness. The ‘blemish’ is a belief in separation, a misidentification with form that says, 'I am not fit to serve God here and now.' The true priest is the I AM within you, the unblemished awareness that can draw near to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire. When you cling to lack, fear, or limitation, you keep your inner temple barred and you cannot partake of the bread of your God. But the moment you acknowledge that the I AM is the sole reality, the barrier dissolves. The 'seed of Aaron' is the living potential for sacred action in your thoughts and feelings; the Holy Presence you seek is already within, ready to be expressed as love, clarity, and creative power. Thus the law becomes a gentle invitation: identify with pure awareness, and worship becomes your intimate experience of being.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise: I am the unblemished I AM. Feel that presence fill your temple and, from that state, imagine offering the bread of God on the altar of your heart.
