Read Leviticus 20 in context

Scripture Focus

11And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
12And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
Leviticus 20:11-12

Biblical Context

These verses set a boundary: certain familial relationships are forbidden and carry death as judgment. They emphasize accountability for acts that disrupt lineage and order.

Neville's Inner Vision

These lines speak not of crime and punishment alone but of the inner order you must maintain in consciousness. The 'father' and the 'daughter-in-law' symbolize states within you that, when entertained, disrupt the harmony of your inner house. The I AM, your true identity, stands as the boundary keeper; to pretend otherwise is to uncover the father's nakedness, to invite 'blood'—the residue of misalignment—into your field. Yet the decree of death is simply the universe clearing away thought that does not belong to your true self. You can revise by stepping into the feeling of your own unity, assuming the right state now: I AM pure awareness, I am the law I live by, I am accountable to my inner integrity. In imagination, picture yourself acting with honor toward all relations of mind and life, and feel yourself returning to alignment. The apparent judgments disappear when you realize you are the sovereign I AM, the source of all boundary and order.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM as your inner boundary. For a minute, imagine yourself acting with flawless integrity toward all that arise within you; feel the reality of that choice now.
