The memorial burned on the altar is the energy of that state consumed in the fire of pure intention; it becomes a sweet savour unto the LORD—the fragrance of alignment, the sense that your desire is in harmony with the divine you. What remains, the portion set aside for Aaron and his sons, is the holiness kept by the inner priest—the I AM that endures, undefiled by fear or doubt, a sacred trust within. Thus your offerings are not to propitiate a distant power, but to awaken your awareness to its own holiness, here and now.
