Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Leviticus 2:4-7 describes meat offerings baked in different ways using unleavened flour mixed with oil; the pieces are broken and oil is poured on them, signaling a dedicated, presence-filled offering to God.
Neville's Inner Vision
These verses invite you to read a ritual as a map of your inner state. The unleavened flour stands for thoughts purified of doubt; the oil is the Presence, the I AM that you are. Baking in oven, pan, or frying pan shows the same reality expressed through different forms of attention. When you declare that it is a meat offering, you affirm that your life is an offering of consciousness, not a transaction from without. To part it in pieces and pour oil on it is to practice dividing attention among moments while keeping the bond with Spirit intact on every fragment. The oil does not add to the bread; it reveals the bread as the texture of awareness already perfect. Neville would say: every form of activity in your day can be used as this altar, provided you remain aware that you are the I AM. Realize that the sense of lack dissolves when you dwell in Presence here and now.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and declare I am the I AM. See your life as an unleavened loaf of pure consciousness, anointed with oil, break it into moments, and pour Presence over every piece, feeling the fulfillment already yours.
