Neville's Inner Vision
All worship of idols is a misreading of your inner life. Leviticus 19:4 sets a boundary: turn ye not unto idols, for I am the LORD your God—the I AM within you. In the Neville Goddard mode, the true God is the I AM, your abiding awareness that animates every feeling, every scene of life. When you worship external images, you are projecting a lack you fear to own; idols are inner dispositions dressed in outward forms: doubt dressed as limitation, or pride wearing the aura of success. The moment you acknowledge I AM as your sole ruler, you revoke the idol's power by claiming a present, constant consciousness. Imagination is not escape but the instrument by which you re-create reality from the inside out. Refuse to bow to images, and you align with the inner law that your very consciousness draws forth every experience. By dwelling in the I AM, you replace the dream of idol worship with the waking awareness that you are the creator of your world.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the sentence 'I AM the LORD, I AM within me' and feel that this I AM presence now governs your thoughts and scenes. Turn away from any image that mirrors lack and let the inner I AM fill your awareness.
