Read Leviticus 18 in context

Scripture Focus

21And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
Leviticus 18:21

Biblical Context

Leviticus 18:21 forbids sacrificing to Molech and commands reverence for God’s name. It marks a boundary between fear-based worship and true holiness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Suppose Molech is the image your mind creates when you yield to fear, appetite, or the crowd. The 'seed' speaks of your living impulse, the energy you would invest in life; passing it through the fire to Molech means burning that impulse on the altar of external power, status, or approval. The command 'thou shalt not profane the name of thy God' invites you to protect the indwelling I AM - your pure awareness - from being stitched to any false god of limitation. When you hear 'I am the LORD,' you are reminded that you are not the submission to circumstance but the conscious creator of it. In Neville’s sense, true worship is inner alignment: choosing to inhabit the imagination that resembles the unshakeable presence, not the noise of fear or tradition. Your inner world is the sanctuary; the outer world reflects the state you assume. Therefore, detach your seed from the fire of external assurance and refuse to let it be claimed by any idol; return always to the awareness that you are God in expression.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the I AM as your ruling consciousness. Silently revise any fear-based thought by saying, 'I am the LORD,' and feel your inner life re-center in that truth.
