Biblical Context
Verse 17:7 forbids offering sacrifices to devils (idols) and declares this rule a perpetual statute. It shifts worship from external powers to an inner truth.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of 'devils' as limiting beliefs of separation that you have fed with attention and emotion. Leviticus 17:7, in Neville's sense, invites a turning inward: stop sacrificing to imagined powers and place the mind in the I AM. The 'statute' is an inner law—when you withdraw your energy from these external idols and dwell in the awareness that you are the I AM, the world shifts to match your inner state. The verse doesn't condemn you; it redefines worship as the alignment of imagination with truth. The moment you feel it real that you are not the body's victim but consciousness, the sacrifices to fear and lack fall away, and your life takes on order and harmony accordingly. The true offering is the now-filled awareness that you are one with Source.
Practice This Now
For 5 minutes, close your eyes and assume the feeling I AM that I AM here now; imagine withdrawing energy from a belief in lack and offering it to the unity of all life. Then revise a recent lack scene by stating, 'From this moment, my experience reflects wholeness and sufficiency' until it feels real.
