Viewed through the Neville lens Leviticus 17:10 becomes a picture of your inner diet. Blood stands for the life force you feed your mind inviting fear guilt or despair to take up residence in consciousness. When you indulge such thoughts the I AM within you the God present awareness turns its face against that state and withdraws its favor cutting that self off from the larger harmonious community of your true being. The law is not punitive but practical it marks a boundary between states of consciousness separating the lower from the higher so that purity and integrity can reign. Obedience here means refusing to chew on disempowering stories or morbid appetites and instead nourishing imaginative life with vitality love and faith. As you stop feeding on lower sensationalism you awaken to your divine state and find yourself again in alignment with your inner people your collective sense of self and purpose. The imagery dissolves when you recognize this as an inner discipline that preserves wholeness and expands possibility.
