Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Leviticus 16:18-19 describes the atonement ritual: the altar is cleansed and sanctified by blood, removing uncleanness from the people and space before the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you the altar before the LORD stands as the seat of awareness. The blood of the bullock and goat symbolize the union of opposing states of consciousness—fear and faith—brought into one act of purification. By applying the blood to the horns of the altar, you train your attention to saturate its points of contact with life with the certainty of your I AM presence. The horns are the channels through which intention reaches into form; to anoint them with conviction is to align your will with holiness. The seven sprinklings represent complete, uncompromised cleansing, erasing the old beliefs that separate you from God. The rite is not external ritual but a mental pivot: revise your self-image until you can affirm here and now that you are holy and God is present within. The presence of God is not distant; it is the I AM within your chest responding to your conscious alignment. Thus atonement becomes a transformation of consciousness, a move from separation to unity with the divine within.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and, with a soft breath, imagine applying the life-blood of your perfect self to the horns of your inner altar seven times, saturating the space with I AM presence. Then inwardly declare, 'I AM that I AM,' and allow the cleansing to take hold.
