Inner Atonement Temple Echoes
Leviticus 16:11-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Aaron brings the sin offering for himself and his house, then for the people, to secure atonement. He uses incense, the blood on the mercy seat, and the veil to invite the Presence of God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within your inner sanctuary, the two offerings are two states of consciousness. The bullock for himself represents the ego attempting to cleanse by effort; the goat for the people embodies the shared sense of fault. The blood, far more than matter, is the life force animated by awareness; when it is sprinkled on the mercy seat to wake the I AM within, the temple begins to breathe. The cloud of incense is your rising thoughts converted to reverent feeling, shielding the throne from fear and making the presence tangible in your inner view. When you spray the blood before the mercy seat seven times you enact complete coverage by divine life. Then, the blood within the veil is your consciousness entering through the barrier, until the presence of God fills the temple. You are the temple; the mercy seat is your awakened awareness; atonement is the moment you realize you are always the I AM and that nothing stands between you and the divine.
Practice This Now
Practice: Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the role of Aaron in your inner temple. Visualize a censer with burning coals and a cloud of incense; declare I AM presence, feel forgiveness rising as life flows through you.
