Biblical Context
Leviticus 15:25-27 describes a prolonged period of separation due to a woman's bodily issue, making beds and objects she touches ceremonially unclean and requiring washing until evening.
Neville's Inner Vision
On the inner plane, this law marks a moment when your awareness still believes in separation; the 'uncleanness' is a state of mind, not a contagion. The days beyond the usual separation are the stubborn hold of a belief that something in you is not yet whole. The bed you lie upon and the things you touch symbolize habitual thoughts and patterns that you have given power to. When another touches those things, you experience contamination only as a reflection of your own projection. The cure is to turn from the illusion by returning to I AM—the one reality of your being—and to revise from the assumption that you are now clean, whole, and free. Imagine with feeling that your inner space is spotless; feel the lift of certainty that the whole room and every object are compatible with your true self. In that act of imagining you demonstrate that the day’s end is but the hour of inner conversion, and the external world moves to align with your renewed consciousness.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and declare, 'I am the I AM, I am clean now.' Imagine the bed and objects in your room radiating light and becoming spotless; feel the conviction that your present life is free and whole.
