Read Leviticus 15 in context

Scripture Focus

16And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
17And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.
18The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.
Leviticus 15:16-18

Biblical Context

It describes temporary impurity arising from seed of copulation, requiring washing of the body and clothing until evening. It also covers the partner, who together must bathe and wait for the day to end.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider the verse as a map to inner life. The 'seed of copulation' stands for a potent life-energy moving through consciousness. Impurity, then, is not a stain but a temporary misalignment within the I AM. The command to 'wash all his flesh in water' becomes a practice of rinsing your entire sense of self in the stream of awareness—beliefs, feelings, and self-images—until the inner 'evening' comes and you rest in the certainty that God is your awareness. The garments and skin symbolize outward expressions you wear in thought and feeling; washing them with water means renewing your mental attire so no residual impulse clings to your sense of self as God’s own. The partner points to relational energy—the life you share—and when both bathe, you acknowledge that even your relations are purified by the I AM. Purification is an inner act of revision, returning you to the original state of immersion in divine consciousness.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the I AM as your sole reality and visualize a basin of clear water washing your body, clothes, and any lingering energy until the old impulse dissolves. Breathe into the sense of renewal and rest in the inner evening of completion.
