Read Leviticus 13 in context

Scripture Focus

1And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, saying,
2When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:
Leviticus 13:1-2

Biblical Context

These verses describe a skin lesion that must be brought to a priest for examination as part of ritual purification. It frames a physical condition within a ceremonial process rather than medical instruction.

Neville's Inner Vision

On the surface the passage speaks of a rising, a scab, or a bright spot appearing on the skin and being brought to the priest. In Neville’s view, every outward sign is a symbol of an inner state and every ritual is a cue to awaken to the I AM within. The blemish represents a belief in separation from God, a mental image that seems to rule the body. The priest stands for the inner authority of consciousness that can correct misalignment. When you bring the blemish to this inner priest, you acknowledge that you are the one who defines reality, not the appearance. Healing comes not by forcing the body to change but by changing the state of mind through assumption, revision, and feeling it real. Persist in this inner act until the sense of separation dissolves and wholeness remains your constant experience. The so called plague yields to the simple truth that I AM is the healing presence here and now.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the state I AM healing and feel it real now. Visualize the blemish dissolving into light as your wholeness returns to the body.
