Inner Birth, Purity Reframed
Leviticus 12:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse describes a woman becoming ceremonially unclean for seven days after bearing a male child. It presents purity as a phase of restoration that follows birth.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the Neville lens, birth is an inner event, not a decree on the body. The seven days of uncleanness are the mind's pause, giving space for the old self to yield to the new idea born within you. The I AM stands as the governing consciousness; when you assume the feeling of the completed birth and rest in that divine state, impurity dissolves and clarity returns. The verse invites you to reinterpret ritual of separation as a disciplined mental posture: withdraw attention from conflicting thoughts, honor the birth with unwavering faith, and allow your inner temple to align with the truth that you are God in expression. The unclean period is your mind's momentary travail yielding to a higher image. When you decide this new self is here and now, your outer life reflects that inner renewal.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe, and imagine you are already the purified self just born. Repeat I AM that I AM, feeling the new birth as present reality and let the old sense of impurity fall away.
