Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Moses declares that God will be sanctified by those who approach Him and glorified before the people. He then commands Aaron to remove his brethren from before the sanctuary.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the invitation to approach the sacred is not a demand for outer ceremony, but a summons to a state of consciousness. When Moses says, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, he reveals that the God you seek is the I AM within your own awareness, and sanctification is a habit of mind. To come near is to align your inner state with truth so that your attention becomes a clear vessel for divine presence; the 'glory' spoken of is the results of imagining in full conviction. The act of removing Aaron's brethren from before the sanctuary is symbolic: it is your willingness to prune away thoughts, habits, and identifications that would block your nearness to God. Aaron's silence signals the inner quiet that accompanies true recognition. As you dwell in this inner posture and entertain the conviction that you are already sanctified, your experiences reform to match that state. You are not petitioning God to come; you are becoming a state in which God is already present, and your world reflects that holiness back to you.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Close your eyes, breathe, and affirm: I am sanctified now; I stand near the I AM. In your imagination, carry away every lingering fear or habit from the sanctuary of your mind, leaving a clear space for the divine presence to dwell.
