Read Leviticus 10 in context

Scripture Focus

2And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.
3Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.
Leviticus 10:2-3

Biblical Context

This passage records a sober moment: approaching the holy requires a pure inner state. Those who come near without sanctity are consumed, while the Lord says He will be sanctified in the near and glorified before all.

Neville's Inner Vision

Read as a map of your inner theater. The 'fire' is the I AM revealing and burning away states not worthy of its proximity. When you approach the Lord with purity of intent, that fire cleanses, not punishes; God is sanctified in them that come near, and His glory shines through your consciousness. The two men were undone because their approach carried ego and fear; the alternative is to enter the presence as the I AM, a state that needs no defense. Aaron’s quietness invites you to stop arguing with what is revealed and to allow the self you are to yield to the inner purification. The near state is not achieved by distance but by a shift of consciousness; when you know you are the I AM, you are already sanctified and glorified. Practice this inner alignment and let the inner fire become your light, not your doom.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: In a moment of stillness, declare, 'I am sanctified by the I AM,' and feel your self-concept melt into that holy state; repeat until it feels real.
