The passage declares that nothing happens without the Lord's command; even what seems evil or good flows from the Most High.
Neville's Inner Vision
As I stand in the awareness that I AM, I see that nothing in my life happens apart from the inner command. The question, 'Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass?' dissolves when I recognize the authority of the inner word—the decree of the Lord within. The Lord commands, and therefore the events I experience are outward expressions of my inner state. When I imagine a circumstance as finished in love and peace, I am not merely hoping; I am asserting reality with the word that proceeds from the Most High within me. The practical truth is to revise the scene in imagination until it feels true in the heart. If fear or lack arises, I shift to the feeling of complete sufficiency and declare, 'I AM the decree behind all forms.' Trust that any seeming contradiction is a translation by limited senses; the universal law remains: the inner command writes the outer world. So dwell in the feeling of being the decree, and observe the outer world reflect that inner reality.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, revise the inner scene until it feels true, and rest in the belief 'I AM the decree behind all forms.' Repeat with a current situation you fear or desire.
