Neville's Inner Vision
Judges 7:24 presents an outer movement, yet in the eyes of the inner man, every line is a movement of consciousness. Gideon is not a commander in the field but the I AM that calls forth the scattered states of memory, perception, courage, and faith within you. Mount Ephraim represents your inner regions of awareness—areas that respond when summoned. When you hear the call to come down against the Midianites, you are asked to gather the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan, to collect the currents of thought and feeling that run toward the edge of your day. The act of gathering is an inner unification; the enemy you face is the fear of separation, the belief that you are divided. As Ephraimites gathered, your inner faculties converge, and the waters you seize become the means by which you enter your own Bethbarah and Jordan—your defined boundaries and your ongoing flow of life. The providence you seek arises not from battle but from a harmonized life within. When the inner assembly is complete, salvation flows as an inner certainty.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Sit quietly, repeat 'I am one with all within me' and imagine the tribes gathering inside your mind, taking the waters of thought at Bethbarah and Jordan. Feel the unity as already accomplished, and let that feeling guide every action you take tomorrow.
