Scripture Focus

13Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.
Judges 5:13

Biblical Context

The verse speaks of those who remain gaining dominion. It attributes that power to the Lord.

Neville's Inner Vision

From the nebula of the text, I stand before you: The remaining are those who persist in awareness, not those who bend to circumstance. 'They that remain' are states of consciousness that persist until they convert all seeming powers into conquered thoughts. The 'nobles among the people' and 'the mighty' are the gentler and stronger appearances within; they bow before the I AM when you awaken to your kingly throne. The LORD, or I AM within you, makes you sovereign over both the subtle social voices and the fierce inner drives. Your dominion is not over others but over your own inner theatre, by the power of imagination; you claim the authority that has always been your birthright. Visualize yourself as that ruler who remains aware regardless of outer reports; know that every impulse, every opinion, and every fear is subject to your awareness. The moment you assume the state of dominion, reality must reflect that inner decree. The verse invites you to start with the inner governor: 'I am' the dominion, and all power answers to that call.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and declare, 'I am the dominion.' Then feel your inner I AM presiding over every impulse until the sense of power remains.
