Read Judges 2 in context

Scripture Focus

1And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.
Judges 2:1

Biblical Context

An angel proclaims that God delivered the people from Egypt and brought them to the promised land, affirming that He will never break His covenant.

Neville's Inner Vision

See the text as a map of inner life. The angel is not a traveler of space but a movement of awareness from Gilgal—the restart of conquest—to Bochim—the place of feeling and choice. God's words, 'I made you go up out of Egypt,' weigh as the memory of a transcendent breakthrough you already experienced in consciousness, a decision planted in your I AM that you are free from the old bondage of limitation. The land sworn to your fathers is the inner state you inhabit when you consent to the truth of your oneness with the living I AM, a land that cannot be lost by circumstance because it rests on the eternal covenant of God with you. The promise 'I will never break my covenant with you' becomes a living conviction: your awareness (I AM) does not abandon the form it has chosen to express. When you remember this covenant, you return to the land, regardless of appearances; the events of life become movements within a single, steadfast consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and repeat silently: 'I am the I AM; this covenant cannot fail.' Feel the land already given saturating your present moment as you breathe in assurance and live from that state of consciousness.
