Judges 19:20-21

Biblical Context

An old man offers peace and shelter to a traveler, promising to provide all his needs. He brings the guest into his house, feeds both man and beasts, and cleanses the guest's feet before they eat and drink.

Neville's Inner Vision

See the elder host as the I AM within you, the inner consciousness that can shelter every desire. The house is your present state of awareness, a sanctuary where every need can be acknowledged and supplied. When the host speaks of peace and offers to bear all wants, he declares your capacity to harbor every possibility without fear. The act of washing the guest's feet is the cleansing of belief, removing doubts from your awareness so you can sit at the feast of supply. Feeding the guest and the animals represents nourishing your faculties—will, imagination, and sensation—with thoughts and feelings that sustain their journey. By inviting the guest inside, you refuse to project lack outwardly and instead dwell in a generous, unassailable consciousness. In this inner alignment, the outer world will reflect a home filled with provision, mercy, and grace, as your life becomes a true feast of abundance.

Practice This Now

Practice: Close your eyes and assume the host within you, affirming that peace and all needs are already provided. Then imagine guiding your perceived lack inside your inner house, washing its feet and serving bread and drink, feeling the abundance as real in this moment.
