Biblical Context
Samson says seven green withs will make him weak, but when bound he breaks them; the verse shows strength lies within, not in outward cords, and it remains unseen by others until revealed.
Neville's Inner Vision
To me, Judges 16:7-9 is the drama of inner binding, not a material trap. Samson says seven green withs would make him weak—an admission that power seems tethered to outward cords. The Philistines' binding is the mind's projection of threat; the world looks strong when we are weak. Yet 'he brake the withs, as a thread of tow is broken when it toucheth the fire' shows the real law: the cords cannot bind the I AM. Strength is not known by spectators; it rests in the consciousness that holds the impression of being unbound. When you refuse to identify with the limitation and consciously assume the truth 'I AM,' you reverse the scene. Providence and the presence of God become your inner memory of freedom, shining through your choices until the outer event confirms what you already knew inside. The test is simply a revision: align your feeling with the unbound I AM and watch limitation dissolve into liberation.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, 'I am the I AM, unbound now.' See the seven bindings dissolve into light and feel that liberty present as you move through your day.
