Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Samson is bound by cords, delivered to the Philistines; the Spirit of the LORD comes upon him, the cords burn away, and his bands loosen—an inner liberation as well as a physical escape.
Neville's Inner Vision
Judges 15:12-14 is not a mere tale of bondage and deliverance but a vivid allegory of inner states. The cords symbolize limiting beliefs and conditions you have allowed to bind your awareness. When the Spirit of the LORD—your I AM presence—moves upon you, the imagined cords become flax that burns, and the sense of constraint loosens from your hands. In Neville's psychology, this is a change of state: you must attach your consciousness to liberty now, not in some future moment, and your outer scene will follow your inner certainty. The Philistines, the crowd, and the rock are all features of your environment that respond to your inner posture. As you presume freedom, feel it as real in the present, and revise any sense of bondage by the power of your inner Spirit, you reveal the truth that you are never truly bound. The Spirit within is always ready to translate inner victory into outward manifestation.
Practice This Now
Assume the state of liberty now: silently say 'I am free now' until you feel the shift, then visualize the cords turning to flax and burning away, leaving your hands unbound.
