Biblical Context
The Spirit of the LORD comes upon Samson, granting power beyond his own hands; he acts without revealing the deed to his parents, and later finds honey in the lion's carcass, sharing it with them while keeping its source secret.
Neville's Inner Vision
Samson's scene is not a history lesson but a map of your inner life. When the Spirit of the LORD comes upon him, imagine your I AM awakening and stepping into a testing situation with effortless authority. The lion slain with no tool shows a moment when outer lack and inner readiness align, so the seemingly impossible becomes possible by awareness alone. The line about telling no one what he had done is the discipline of keeping the inner victory private, so the outer world remains free of vanity while your conviction deepens inward. Later, returning to the scene, he discovers a swarm of bees and honey in the carcass—sweetness arising from what once seemed dead. This is the sign that life can spring from apparent death when your consciousness is aligned with the source within. He eats and shares the honey with his parents, yet withholds the origin as a study in integrity: let the fruit bless others, not the boasting of self. Practical: live your daily acts as inward demonstrations of I AM; the victory is already done in you, and you trust the revision of your outer world that follows.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, I AM, now empowering me. See a current obstacle as the lion and invite honey to emerge from it; acknowledge the sweetness as your inner victory and let it guide your next action, keeping the source within your inner conviction.
