Biblical Context
Manoah and his wife bring a kid with a meat offering to the LORD on a rock; the angel appears, and as the flame rises, the angel ascends, and they bow in awe.
Neville's Inner Vision
Manoah’s offering is the self-attestation of your attention. The rock is the fixed point of your consciousness, the altar in your inmost I AM. When you lift the meat offering—the nourishing thought or image—upon that rock to the LORD within, the angel appears not as a separate figure but as the living sense of God rising in your awareness. The fire ascending from the altar is the flame of life moving in you, and when it climbs toward heaven, the angel of the LORD ascends in the flame of your own consciousness. You and your wife—two aspects of self—watch in awe and then bow, surrendering to the Presence you cannot resist. This is true worship: not outward ritual, but the recognition and submission of your identity to the I AM, to the invisible order of your consciousness. The ascent is your sign that you have invited the divine to close the gap between mind and its creation, between form and the formless I AM. In that moment you become both prophecy and promise realized within the heart.
Practice This Now
Assume you already know the I AM as your only reality. Place a small offering on your inner rock, feel the flame rising, and permit the inner angel to ascend within your awareness.
