Biblical Context
The verse marks the boundary line for the Amorite territory, described as starting from the ascent toward Akrabbim, and upward from the rock.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the awakened imagineer, Judges 1:36 speaks not of geography but of the boundary you presently accept in your mind. The land of the Amorites is the part of your inner field where fear, doubt, or habit have set a line you dare not cross. The coast from the going up to Akrabbim, from the rock, and upward, marks the exact edge where your present assumption stops, where your awareness refuses to go beyond the known. In truth, God is the I AM right within you—your constant, unwavering consciousness that does not waver at limitation. The 'going up' is the invitation to rise; the 'rock' is the firm ground of your present identification with the I AM; the upward is the ascent of your imagination into a state that has already realized the thing desired. When you awaken to the fact that the boundary exists only as a belief, you stop negotiating with it and start stepping beyond, assuming the end from the end already in you. The Kingdom of God is not a place to reach, but a state to inhabit by feeling it real.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise the boundary: I AM the rock of truth, and I have already crossed the Amorite coast into the upward state. Feel it real now as you breathe.
