Three Day Covenant Realization

Joshua 9:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Joshua 9 in context

Scripture Focus

16And it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a league with them, that they heard that they were their neighbours, and that they dwelt among them.
Joshua 9:16

Biblical Context

Three days after forming a league with the outsiders, the Israelites discover those people are actually neighbors dwelling among them.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this inner script, the three-day league is a state of consciousness you enter within the I AM. The 'neighbors' are not external foes but aspects of your life that you have divided from yourself. The period of three days is the space in which your assumption can move from mere thought to felt reality. When you 'hear' that they dwell among you, you are being told that your assumed unity has become your experience; what was other side-by-side with you is now living in your atmosphere. Covenant loyalty is fidelity to the inner state you have chosen, not to outward appearances. Love of neighbor becomes love of every facet of your own mind that appears as another in your world. Community and unity rise as distinct elements acknowledge the same I AM presence and live together harmoniously.

Practice This Now

For three days, assume you are already in covenant with all that appears 'other'—feel their presence dwelling in your life. End each session with the conviction: 'I am in blessed unity; they are already mine, and I am theirs.'
