The Ark Of Inner Blessing

Joshua 8:33 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Joshua 8 in context

Scripture Focus

33And all Israel, and their elders, and officers, and their judges, stood on this side the ark and on that side before the priests the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, as well the stranger, as he that was born among them; half of them over against mount Gerizim, and half of them over against mount Ebal; as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.
Joshua 8:33

Biblical Context

All Israel, plus elders, officers, and judges, stood on both sides of the ark to bless the people, as Moses commanded.

Neville's Inner Vision

Seek not to recount history, but to witness your own inner drama. The ark before which all Israel stands is the I AM, the steadfast awareness you carry at the center of every thought. The two mountains, Gerizim and Ebal, are the voices of consciousness—the blessing and the judging mind—set opposite each other yet kept by the same divine arrangement. When the elders, officers, judges, and even the stranger gathered before the ark, they stand for every part of you coming into alignment under presence. The command to bless is not for God to hear, but for you to revise your inner state, to declare and feel that your entire being is blessed by the covenant. To bless is to choose a state of consciousness, to imagine and feel the reality of harmony, so that the I AM governs the movements within you. As you dwell in this blessed stance, your outer life naturally reflects the inner covenant, and imagination becomes your actual experience.

Practice This Now

Practice for three minutes: close your eyes, picture the ark of awareness at your center, with Gerizim and Ebal as inner voices. Assume and feel, 'I am blessed in every part of my life,' and let that blessing permeate your day.
