Joshua 7:19-20

Biblical Context

Joshua 7:19-20 shows Joshua pressing Achan to confess his sin against the LORD. Achan openly admits what he did.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within every soul, the voice of the I AM calls for truth-telling and alignment. When Joshua says, Give glory to the LORD and tell me what you have done, he is not asking a man to reveal history but to reveal the state of consciousness that produced it. Achan’s confession is simply the inner acknowledgment that a belief in separation—of pleasing the mind with a coveted thing—has taken form in action. The glory to the LORD is the turning of attention back to the reality that you are the I AM, the dwelling place of all power. When you name the deed, you are no longer defending it; you are dissolving its hold by naming it in the light of your inner God. The moment of confession clears the air and realigns obedience with the divine idea in you. The outer consequence follows the inner correction; reconciliation with God becomes possible as you refuse to hide from your own awareness. You are not banishing consequences; you are choosing to live from an original, unconditioned state of fulfillment.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and silently confess to the LORD within you any hidden deed or belief of separation. Then affirm, I am the I AM; I choose alignment now and feel that this state is already mine.
