Inner Jericho Ark Within
Joshua 6:6-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Joshua 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Joshua instructs the priests to carry the ark and blow seven trumpets, and commands the people to circle the city with the armed before the ark. The ark leads, and the people move in obedience.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the Joshua narrative, the ark is not a box but the living I AM you are awakening. The seven priests with trumpets are the seven layers of awareness sounding your intention; the march around Jericho is a disciplined reprise of attention around a belief until its walls crumble from within. When Joshua commands the armed to go before the ark, he is directing your active faculties to guard the field of consciousness while the still presence of God follows. The ark does not conquer by force but by presence; your awareness circles the impression until it yields to the established vibration of I AM. The trumpets are the declarations that something new is assumed, felt, and assumed again until it dissolves the illusion of separation. Covenant loyalty and true worship appear as unwavering assumption that the inner state already is so, even before outer signs change. Your spiritual march is not a battle with walls but a rehearsal of your state toward realization, until the structure yields to the certainty of you as I AM.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are the I AM; imagine the ark within you as a radiant center. Then mentally walk around the imagined problem once, sounding the decree I AM, and let the wall dissolve.
