Joshua sends the two spies back into Jericho to retrieve Rahab and all she has, honoring the oath they swore to her.

Neville's Inner Vision

Here the city of Jericho becomes a mirror of your own mind, and Rahab’s house is the hidden faith that hides in plain sight. The two men are your two faculties—imagination and perception—scouting the terrain of your life, seeking signs that your chosen end is possible. The harlot’s house is not a person but a state of mind where appearance and appetite mingle; yet Joshua’s command to bring out the woman and all that she hath reveals a deeper truth: the oath you made to your inner guide remains valid even amidst surface confusion. When you swear to Rahab, you commit to trusting the inner law of your I AM, the awareness that never deserts you. Bringing Rahab and her possessions into the light is the act of allowing inner grace to enter expression in your world. Jericho falls not by force but by the recognition that your assumed state is already accomplished in consciousness. Thus the 'spies' return with the bounty because you have kept faith with your own inner covenant. The outer events echo your present inner state, and so you dwell in the certainty that you are already free.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the end: you have already brought forth the Rahab of your mind and all her goods. Feel it real that your inner covenant is kept by the I AM, and stand in that assuredness today.
