Inner Treasury of Grace

Joshua 6:19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Joshua 6 in context

Scripture Focus

19But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.
Joshua 6:19

Biblical Context

The verse presents wealth and sacred items as dedicated to the LORD and gathered into His treasury. It implies that what is precious is set apart for divine use.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the silver and gold as your ideas, your talents, your health—every energy you once chased outward. When you 'consecrate' them to the LORD, to the I AM within, they cease to be separate riches and become movements within your consciousness. The treasury is not a place apart from you, but the state of awareness that accepts ownership by God in you. In this moment, the outer world rearranges to reflect the inner agreement: that wealth serves the divine purpose rather than personal lack. The event in Joshua is a symbol of inner movement: a surrender of outward forms to the divine governor within, and the floodgates of supply open through the treasury of the I AM. You are not distant from prosperity; you are its inner governor, making a quiet decision and persisting in feeling that this abundance is already yours in consciousness. When you act from that state, the seeming separation between wealth and worship dissolves; your possessions become a sacred token of your inner alignment with God.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the wealth state: 'All I own is consecrated to the I AM within me; my treasury now holds every silver and gold of my life.' Feel this as fact, in the chest, for a few moments.
