Inner Jericho: The Shout Within
Joshua 6:11-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Joshua 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The ark encircles Jericho with the people for seven days, and on the seventh day the command to shout signals that the city is given.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your present inner state is the ark, the I AM within that encircles every wall of limitation. The city is your desired condition, and the walls are mental habit. By the ritual of attention—round after round, day after day—the mind maintains a fixed point of awareness until the moment of inner 'Shout' when the sense of possession is complete. The seven trumpets are your repeated thoughts that align with truth; the marching is continuous conviction, not force. In this inner drama, the outer miracle is already accomplished in consciousness: the city is given as you stand in the certainty that God is governing your world. When you see the walls dissolve, you see the outer results reflect your inward state.
Practice This Now
For the next seven days, begin each day by imagining you carry the ark of your I AM around your goal; on the seventh day, internally shout with unwavering certainty that the city is yours, then live from that knowing.
