Inner Stones of Crossing Jordan
Joshua 4:1-24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The crossing of the Jordan required twelve stones to be set up as a memorial; the act confirms God's power and the people's covenant loyalty as they move into the promised space.
Neville's Inner Vision
Crossing Jordan is not merely an ancient event; it is a shift in my state of consciousness. Jordan is the river of my present life, the current of all I have believed about myself. When I carry the ark within, the inner law of God—the I AM—moves through the middle of my being and parts the waters of doubt. The twelve stones I set are fixed assumptions, each a witness to a power already working in me. They stand as memorials to my future self that the hand of the Lord is mighty in my life. The ark of the covenant is my inner alignment with the higher self; the priests are the faculties of awareness and faith carrying that ark until the crossing is complete. As I acknowledge and obey this inner command, the inner company passes over—the fear is replaced by confidence, and victory becomes my natural state. The stones remain as signs so that all within me may know the Lord is God, now and forever, in me.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and select a stone in your mind representing a fixed inner truth. Sit with it, feel the waters retreat, and declare, 'The hand of the LORD is mighty in me,' allowing the miracle to feel real now.
