I Am With Thee: Inner Leadership
Joshua 3:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Joshua 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
In Joshua 3:7, the LORD magnifies Joshua so all Israel may know that God will be with him, as He was with Moses. This marks a transition of divine presence and authority.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this verse the LORD is not a distant deity but the I AM within your own consciousness. Joshua becomes the standing state of leadership you are asked to inhabit now; the people of Israel are the many facets of your mind that will acknowledge your inner authority when you choose to awaken the presence. The promise 'as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee' is the law of continuity—your past spiritual experiences are not past but seeds of what now can be realized through imagination. To Joshua is spoken a new beginning: the divine energy begins to magnify the inner self in order that outward circumstances may reflect the inner alignment. This is Providence made practical: a shift in your inner posture, a new faith that the I AM is always with you, guiding, supporting, and confirming your leadership. If you expect to be led, you will observe guidance in every decision and a gentle strengthening of resolve.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume the feeling of the I AM with you now; declare inwardly 'I am with thee now' and imagine the inner camp recognizing your leadership, magnifying it in your sight.
