Inner Victory at Jordan's Crossing
Joshua 3:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Joshua 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Joshua declares that the living God is among the people and will drive out their enemies. This asserts divine presence and guidance as the foundation of their path forward.
Neville's Inner Vision
Here is the inner teaching: the living God is among you now, i.e., the I AM that occupies your awareness. The drive-out is not a battle with soldiers, but the defeat of inner enemies—fear, doubt, limitation—by the power you already possess in your consciousness. When you inhabit the God-present, you reorder the unseen landscape, and what seems to oppose you in your world is displaced by the vibrational truth you hold. Providence is your internal alignment, guiding each choice toward a state of wholeness. The victory is an inside job: by assuming the God-present, you awaken a current of life that pushes out what no longer serves you. Your faith is the act of staying with that assumption until it feels inevitable—an inner conviction, not force. The outcome follows as a natural expression of your present reality.
Practice This Now
Practice: close your eyes, declare 'The living God is among me now,' and feel that presence saturating your being. Then revise your current obstacle as already resolved, and dwell in the feeling of its fulfillment.
