Inner Blessing, Divine Protection

Joshua 24:9-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Joshua 24 in context

Scripture Focus

9Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you:
10But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand.
Joshua 24:9-10

Biblical Context

Balak, king of Moab, sent Balaam to curse Israel. God prevented the curses and delivered Israel, turning the threat into blessing.

Neville's Inner Vision

Here the tale invites you to see not an old border skirmish but the inner drama of your own consciousness. Balak and Balaam stand for the stubborn voices that insist you are under attack, that you are defined by a doom-fated curse coming from outside. Yet the I AM within you refuses listening to the logic of fear and prints a different decree. The blessing that comes through Balaam's mouth is not a historical anomaly but the inner reality you insist upon despite appearances; every calculation of threat is met with a greater act of mercy by Providence, the one Power that speaks through your own awareness. When you hear that the curse cannot land, you awaken to the truth that you have already been delivered out of any hand that would bind you. Your present state is the blessing chosen by you, and thus your future is already blessed. The faith here is not belief in an external event but a revision of the inner state: you are protected by the I AM doing the delivering, guiding you into every answer and providential outcome.

Practice This Now

Assume now the inner stance that no curse can touch you; feel the I AM protecting you. Revise the threat into blessing and let the delivered state be your inner experience, here and now.
