Inner Blessings, Outer Riches
Joshua 22:6-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Joshua 22 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Joshua blesses the tribes, sends them to their tents, and speaks of returning with wealth and sharing the spoil with their brethren.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the Neville Goddard lens, Joshua is the I AM in you blessing a part of your consciousness that has wandered into the tents of appearance. The blessing is the ignition of awareness that renames scarcity into plenty; sending them away signals a withdrawal of attention from limitation and a confident return to your center. The two halves of Manasseh represent the two streams of thought you entertain; one still clinging to old conditions, the other drawn westward by a higher order of perception. When Joshua bids you return with riches: cattle, silver, gold, raiment, and the rest, these are symbolic faculties and energies you claim in consciousness: vitality, value, textures of life, and durable comfort. The command to share the spoil with your brethren is the act of circulating your inner abundance through every part of your being—mind, heart, body, and the world you touch. Prosperity, in this view, is not earned from without but invited from within as you assume the truth of abundance and distribute it in thought and deed.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, assume the feeling 'I am prospering and I share this abundance with all within my consciousness.' Visualize returning to your tents with riches and distributing them to your brethren, and let the feeling of fullness settle in.
