Scripture shows Naphtali's allotment of cities and villages; in Neville's lens, this is the inner distribution of your states of consciousness. Naphtali represents a faculty of mind—fleetness of thought, fidelity to the I AM within, and covenant loyalty to God. 'According to their families' points to the divisions of your inner life: how you distribute attention, belief, memory, and feeling. The 'cities and their villages' symbolize inner settlements you have erected—places of courage, compassion, creative imagination, and stewardship where you tend the soul's garden. When you recognize this arrangement as your own, you align with the Covenant that the I AM is always present, and you awaken to the Kingdom of God within as your daily experience. The land becomes the arrangement of your thoughts made tangible by imagination: your inner city lights rise to life as you dwell there with deliberate attention. The true pursuit is not conquest of others but a transformation of awareness into a coherent, unified life.
