Biblical Context
Seven tribes remain without an inheritance in Israel, signaling an unfinished inner distribution of gifts and potential.
Neville's Inner Vision
To me, Joshua 18:2 is not a record of geography but a map of consciousness. The seven tribes who had not yet received their inheritance are seven undeveloped faculties or possibilities within your being, still waiting to be allocated by your awareness. The nation of Israel is your inner world, and inheritance is the realized state you live from—the tangible condition of your day-to-day life when your I AM recognizes itself as complete. The verse invites you to notice what remains unclaimed in the domain of your mind; what belief, capacity, or joy has not yet been dignified by your attention. In Neville's sense, lack is a habit of non-being in the present I AM, while possession is the movement of imagination becoming memory in the body. When you contemplate these seven tribes, you see a potential you have not yet invited into your present moment. The remedy is simple: assume the fullness you seek, revise any sense of absence, and feel as though you already walk in the promised land.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine you have already received your full inheritance; dwell in the feeling of complete possession as if it is your present reality.
