Read Joshua 15 in context

Scripture Focus

42Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
43And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
44And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:
Joshua 15:42-44

Biblical Context

The verse lists nine coastal towns with their villages. It presents a map of inner life rather than distant geography.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you the list is a caravan of inner towns, each name marking a state of consciousness upon the coastal plain of your mind. Libnah, Ether, Ashan, Jiphtah, Ashnah, Nezib, Keilah, Achzib, Mareshah are not external places but aspects of your being—villages of thought and feeling that crowd the edges of your awareness. When you assume the I AM present as the ruler of all, these towns surrender to unity; the Presence of God becomes the atmosphere in which every street and courtyard breathes. The Kingdom of God is not a distant country but this interior arrangement—nine towns that reflect your wholeness when seen with consciousness. Love of Neighbor and Community arise as you hold each town in the light of oneness. To bring change, revise your self-portrait so that these cities align with one divine reality: I am the light, I am the Life, I am the unity that makes all cities a single commonwealth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume that you are the conscious Presence inhabiting all nine towns; feel the unity saturating every street and village, and repeat softly, 'I am the I AM in every city' until it feels real.
